It certainly doesn’t feel like it’s been 7 years since I first started ADG (adult dyslexia group) and it’ll be back again in January for another year of drop in sessions and specialist stationery supplies at affordable prices. #WorkHardInSilence

Adult Dyslexia Group is on holiday from Friday 26th of September until Monday 6th of October.

Over the weekend I was volunteering at CLAN and from speaking to various people at their event, I may have sourced a new location in town for hosting ADG from but I need to get things organised first before I can make any announcements.

Long time, no updates. This silence wasn’t intentional, I got busy with work and trying various approaches to running ADG more effectively.

Been getting a lot of behind the scenes work done for ADG including sourcing more locations around Aberdeen for hosting the drop in sessions and putting together applications and submitting those for additional funding.

Technically I'm still on holiday until tomorrow but I'm using today to catch up on some admin tasks before my appointment this afternoon to hopefully secure a grant for ADG.

#Aberdeen people, do any of you have recs for affordable coworking/hot desk spaces? I’m needing something ones or twice a week in the city or shire (if it’s on bus routes, I can’t drive) for my small business. I’d prefer to avoid IW PLC owns and operated spaces (Regis, HQ etc)

Thankies 🙂

I get it, sometimes you misdial a number but to just breathe and not speak when your call is answered is creepy. Do not start me on the voicemails that are silent for 30 seconds. As a small business owner, this kind of behaviour wastes my time.

Made it in time for the first in five years dyslexia drop in session. Is by myself in the portacabin just now but it’s warm and I’m drying out. I’ve got the room to 2pm so come along.

Made a small update on crowdfunder for the things that are slightly higher cost than I can afford at the moment. I've gone for average prices for the one-off items and most of the reoccurring items are the quotes I've gotten. Only print at home is estimated.
