This is unrelated, but did you ever really use your shotgun? I'd assume it would be useful for breaching but I'm not sure that shotgun loads other than birdshot would be too common in Syria, since shotguns aren't commonly used by militias like they are in Myanmar so not much ammo's smuggled.
