One of the ways Twin Peaks has changed me is that I will sometimes look for numbers in the environment.
The back end of a white BMW Z4. It's in front of a wall, the top part of which is white corugated iron, the bottom of which is blue concrete. The wall has a rolling shutter that's a darker blue. There's a big numeral 7 in the top left corner. The photo was taken square to the wall and perspective has been corrected so the shapes are neat and lines parallel. It's not very reassuring when the BBC's source on a story about online misinformation is a chatbot.

I got to see @loscampesinos.bsky.social for the fourth time last night and in their platonic ideal venue, the Cardiff Students Union. Best they've ever been.

The closest to street photography I've ever been. Two other guys with cameras and the same idea came down these stairs while I was waiting for someone to walk by.

The accidental paint splats in this one annoy me. The deliberate ones are fine.
An abstract composition in acrylics of various consistencies (string gel, ink, pouring medium, and spray paint) on a 30cm square wooden board with transparent gesso. A mix of straight lines and flat brush strokes, drips, and splashes. Two points of perspective are imposed on one another, inspired by a double-exposure photograph. Most of the painting is black and white, but the wood background shows through and there are some gold and copper metallics and burnt umber in there too.

Tried again using CineStill's new negative conversion presets. A shonkier way to do it than having a proper plugin, but it was easier to work with.
