This is my character, who I have creatively named "cross" all lowercase like chaos xenosaga. Think I'll do a Photon Saber build. Current goal is getting her something cool to wear

Wherever and whatever this is the field around it probably keeps things out and camouflages it from the outside like Solaris or Rennes le Chataeu. The Ma-non ship is probably there because they use it to disrupt the barrier.

Presumably Margie carries around an entire arsenal of weapons the entirety of Xenogears yet chooses not to use them, opting instead to fight by psychically commanding rats to run around a little

Can't get over this guy, he looks so cool and all he does is show up twice and die in a cutscene. Presumably he'd be a bossfight if disc 2 was finished but still that's so little screen time for such a killer mech

The Monado's "multilayered glass" is so mysterious, I believe this is the only time it's ever mentioned. Begs the question if every Monado Art is baked into the sword and predetermined, or if new ones can be written onto the sword, really interesting thematically

Why does Ziggy have what look like flesh and blood legs and arm when he equips his Episode III swimsuit? Fake skin over the prosthetics? Nanomachines? Zohar?

I know he means "we could beat the Mechon" but choosing to word it as "any military force in the world" is so funny. He doesn't know High Entia are real yet, the only other military he could reasonably know about is the Nopon

9S as a character is very similar to pre-timeskip Brother Nier so it's interesting that 2B has a lot of post-timeskip Brother Nier in her while also being very similar to Kaine. Applies to A2 as well. Love how the DLC costumes gesture at this as well

Visually 2B's goggles resembles the eye patch worn by Father Nier. From what I understand (I haven't played Gestalt) Father Nier is a bit more aware of what's going on than Brother but doesn't care. Interesting parallel to 2B, who is very aware of how horrible the world is

The wide shot has it flipped where Shion is higher up than KOS-MOS where if it was shot for shot with the painting KOS-MOS should be higher. But Shion created KOS-MOS so if it's metaphorically like the painting it makes sense.

The flow of this sequence and the framing of Shion and KOS-MOS really reminds me of the Creation of Adam painting. Am I crazy? Is that what they were going for?

Mio is the embodiment of the "someone else" Rex mentions when describing his platonic ideal of the world to Jin. While Rex is gone his hope lives on in Mio, who fights for that same ideal future.
A funny example of this is when Mio punches O and P in their stupid face.
