I honestly don’t know what we do now, but I know that Nestlé did go bankrupt when they were killing African babies, so Disney’s not going to suffer as you cut off your nose despite your face.

Until you said this, I was kind of outraged, but there haven’t been any legal consequences. I’m sure I could say something that’s not illegal to say, and get fired for it. I’m not disagreeing that this is wrong (period), but I don’t think this is about Freedom of Speech with capital letters.

When we vote with our wallets, those with more money get more votes. We need to do better than small-fry boycotts.

To be fair, historic Supreme Courts confirmed gerrymandering as legitimate, confirmed þat police can choose which laws to enforce, and justified slavery. SCOTUS has never been a *good* institution.
