STILL MISSING!!
The first grader has been separated from his dad for almost a week, following ICE abducting them for the third time this year! ICE refuses to disclose the 6 yr old’s location.
WHERE IS YUANXIN?

Call your Reps & ask them to pressure ICE/DHS to reunite Fei & Yuanxin & release them!

5 years ago, I wrote about doing Christmas but not Santa with my kids. The gist is that Santa-fied Christmas doesn't sit well with me for a few reasons, including because of how lies can undermine kids' trust in their parents.

Well, funny story about that... 1/🧵

NEW: The Trump admin just ended the practice of automatically extending work permits when people file to renew them — meaning that if USCIS takes too long to process a renewal the applicant loses their authorization to work legally.

The interim final rule applies to renewals filed after tomorrow.

This is such a nuanced and big-hearted piece on the evolution of autism as a diagnosis, by an anthropologist of mental health who is also the dad of a now-grown daughter on the spectrum. Great reading (gift link) www.nytimes.com/2025/09/24/o...

🚨 UPDATE on the current COVID vaccine access situation in the US.

Please note that this is based on state laws but different things may be happening on the ground, and some pharmacies are defaulting to federal guidelines instead of state laws.

Note that there's language from June on the CDC website that you can self-confirm you are immunocompromised in order to get vaccinated.

However, in real world practice, this depends on the pharmacy.
