So, the @ec.europa.eu no longer provides access to the #CVM reports. After closing the CVM, it obviously decided that the reports would no longer be necessary. Very annoying because I now have to file a request for access to information, which will cost me time

This latest terrible take about the re-elected #Croatian president seems to confirm the saying that when a lie is told a 100 times it becomes the truth. It also confirms that journos, and #media outlets, way too often turn to #populism themselves. They shouldn't wonder then why they lose readership

The @ec.europa.eu seems really determined to fund the #democraticbacksliding of #Slovakia. This decision is contrary to the Commission's own concerns expressed in the 2024 Annual Rule of Law Report. But, hey, who cares about the #RuleOfLaw anymore

With such arguments, the path is set for building a stabilitocracy under Von der Leyen, which will cost much more dearly than an inter-institutional crisis. It's so depressing to watch how the house of European democracy is surrendering to the advancement of undemocratic forces from within #EU
