I recently read Beowulf properly for the first time. "Hwaet" began an article in the Guardian today. A friend told me to use the Hwaet method for overcoming writers' block (Oi! Listen up!). NOW MY NEW COLLEAGUE HAS HWAET TATTOOED ON HIS ARM. Whaet is this.
