In immigrant, LGBTQ and disabled communities, people felt unsafe under the Conservatives and thought Labour would bring respite. The opposite has happened. Of course there is resentment. How else would a sane person respond to that?

The thing is all the good is for nothing if your or the people you care about are a trans person who now can't use the toilet they've been using for decades, a disabled person who can't afford to live or an immigrant who is getting their lives restricted.

You were so great at Chorley last night and thanks for being so kind to us after the show! Fab, friendly and accessible venue and Daman was hilarious too. Can’t wait to see you next time!
