The protocol is able to detect Toxoplasma and some RNA viruses with Ct 38!

For this protocol to succeed, samples and controls must not be frozen before processing. Use only fresh samples, refrigerated controls, or lyophilised materials.

We were also concerned about the fungal sensitivity in clinical samples. Do you have any experience with fungi and saponin?

The protocol that I have uploaded is a new version that have improved the human DNA depletion and that yield higher number of reads for all the microorganisms.
