I thought Stephen Miller already gave that game away? Johnson is either being naive or misleading. Who says 47 is looking to get Congress involved? What a joker.

True. But same issue during Biden's era. All we heard about was the price of eggs going up. Since none of these people do their own shopping, who's job is it to make these higher prices 'a thing' and are not doing it this time?

So messages on the bullets are anti-ICE but the dead are not ICE? Not even 1 injured operative who might’ve been wearing a bulletproof vest? Something doesn’t add up.

And Iger needs to resign. Simple and effective deterrent to other would be ‘capitulators’.

shows:

- 71% of dependent partners of visa holders are in work
- 54% in full time work
- 13% actively looking for work
where's the drain if they're paying into the system?

Going after skilled migration is a seriously stupid idea. The latest report from May 2025 - www.gov.uk/government/p... (section 5.3 'Dependants’ economic activity'),
Skilled Worker route evaluation

Further read of the document shows-
- Dependent partners of health and care visa holders says 78% of those partners are in work
- 56% of 'general skilled' worker visa holders dependent partners are in work.

We need to hit purveyors of falsehood with the facts that folks are paying into the system.
September 22, 2025 at 9:09 AM
Quick summaries from the above -
- Among visa holders with a dependent partner, 71% are in work
- Of dependent partners, 13% were not in work but looking for work.
- 54% were employed full time

@bengoldsborough.bsky.social you simply need to look athe latest figures published in May 2025 by the Government (section 5.35.3 Dependants’ economic activity) - www.gov.uk/government/p...

Still leaves me unsure why the media not kowtowing to executive whims did not investigate much earlier though (sigh)

Getting rid of Cook in an irregular way plus the installation of Miran to the board just in time for the Fed meeting starting today, might be a way to lean on Powell. Will be interesting to see how Miran votes on over the next several quarters on rate decisions.
September 16, 2025 at 10:39 AM
However, given the board of governors have resisted external influence so far (even with all the name calling of Fed chair Powell), strategy might be to fill the board of governors with more compliant voices and tilt voting patterns.

Valid point on the disagree angle. Noteworthy that Lisa Cook does not have any known clashes with the executive arm, so the heat on her is rather curious.

The immediate and obvious question is - How is it possible that the property tax authority was not asked to check their records by the media (ignore Pulte at this point) and confirm if there was any truth to the allegation until now? A genuine question.

Happy Birthday George. Thank you for your steadfastness and may your light continue to shine bright in these dark times. Indeed a beacon for us all.

Having read the original CNN article, I can see they mentioned the 6 month grace period for VPs but Biden has signed a previously unknown directive for 1 more year.

The fact that its now been cancelled, can only speak to the usual vendetta we're trying not to become accustomed to.

I'm old enough to remember Denmark working with NSA to spy on European leaders in c2021. There's something there about karma I can't seem to fully grasp. The NSA also spied on an industrial scale on EU leaders as far back as 2013 - Merkel of Germany the most notable. There is form in this matter.

Good to see broad-brush support for this initiative. The government remains elusive in implementing what’s clearly a win-win situation for both UK and Europe. Reason? Weariness of far-right leaning voices continuing to haunt rational policies. If you don’t take a stand, you will eventually kneel.

It's been known that migrants (exclude those arriving on humanitarian grounds) had a net positive of £2610 in taxes than they received in benefits as far back as Theresa May's speech in 2011. Home Office Net Migration report (2025) advises too. The data is clear, the politics is intentionally not.
