Loon. Ex NHS CIO doing a bit of work but mostly feeding the pigeons. Welcome to my echo chamber. I believe in nothing but it is my nothing.
These people are just so dangerous. Professional voices silenced. Scary.

It was funny, as per, but acetaminophen is not US, both it and paracetamol acceptable terms here. Based on the chemical composition. We would normally call it an acetaminophen assay in labs.

I thought this platform was for polite people 😂
Extreme democracy equals mob rule unfortunately. I'm generally against it.
I am sorry you are too challenged to see that.

I think you're part of the problem you're fighting against. Simple messages are winning, not cleverly constructed nuanced arguments. The people I think you're generally against are like pigeons playing chess. You can't win even on a basic point if what you stand for looks ridiculous to the majority.

Another losing trait. Being a clever clogs.

Its too late for the so called left (like how is clean air a left right issue). They should have realised that all the wackyness, the men playing on female sport teams, the "refugees welcome here" sentiment, was going to send people into the arms of Farage. Game is up.

First up here is Larry Weed's 1971 Grand Round about "Medical Records that Guide and Teach" - this was from a paper era but the problem described still exists in a digital era, in fact some of it is worse.

Credit to the late Ewan Davis for first showing me this.

Next is Jerry Harvey's 1982 talk about the Abilene Paradox - the way organisations (couples, businesses, governments) often end up taking a course of action which is opposed to their interests.

I was lucky enough to meet Dave Bronkart at the @openehr.bsky.social conference this year, here is his original TED Talk on the exciting era of e-Patients and patient empowerment.

We have to make it easier for patients to become full partners in their own care.

There's BS in this and banking apps aren't the problem. My point is there are apps on your phone that can spend money without you having to unlock them
