Funny, when a person fucks you up and takes away your autonomy we call it trauma. But when work does it we call it "burn out".

I'm glad I learned to just walk out on jobs that don't feel worth while.

I did 80 hour work weeks for a glass factory for 2.5 years. It destroyed my body and eventually broke my spirit. Now, 6 years later, I still feel like I'm recovering from the burnout from that job.

I live in Hawaii. Spam and rice is a super common meal here. Both my cats hear the can open and smell the smell and get so excited. Then they realize it's just a brick of super processed meat and instantly get upset.
