Interesting reading Matthew Prince’s blog post. Essentially there was an assumption that the internally generated (config file) input is going to be valid.
Feels kinda sloppy to me. I generally assume input could be garbage in every case. 90% of my code is validation and 10% is doing the thing.

Ok so it was unexplained. Could be some sinister things that would be untreatable at his age anyway if we knew about them. So maybe he’s got another life left in him.

Seem to have accidentally switched my life settings to ‘taxing’ this year. (Other much-worse-than-the cat-thing things have happened that I’ve not shared.)

Is this an iOS 26 thing or an AirPods Pro 3 thing? I have what I think is the original AirPods Pro and I have battery level and hearing test available.
