We're so sad to hear of Jonathan Bryan's passing.
Our love and our prayers are with his family and his friends.
It was wonderful to see him on songs of praise a few weeks back with his good friend Alaric - a very impactful interview.

It's my turn on the 'Blind Faith' podcast from Torch Trust.
Many don't realise I have a visual impairment - just because it's so variable (and I compensate well!).
So here I am being very honest about it...
It's around 20 minutes long, so grab a coffee & have a listen.

This is an extreme example, but the insistence that people have to be healed (something many Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent people have to put up with on a daily basis) is dangerous and wrong.

We're packed up & ready to go for #HiH25!
Do come & see us on our stand - there's some free fiddle toy prayers to take away!
We're speaking in seminars in all slots, so you won't see us on the stand at those times, but you can still explore the prayers & then return to chat later!

We're 12 today!
And what a journey it's been so far.
We hope + pray we can continue to speak out on behalf of those with additional needs and disabilities in 'The Church'.

Our friends at Pondering Platypus Resources have created another 'Fiddle Toy Prayer'.
It was designed for Kid's leaders, but it could be helpful to anyone.
Doesn't have to be a 'stretchy man', an elastic band will do!
Feeling overloaded? This is for you.

A Fiddle Toy Prayer for those who feel overstretched
Many people can feel overstretched for many reasons. Use this simple prayer to help you talk to God about what is overstretching you and how you feel.

A good morning at diocesan house leading additional needs training. A lovely group of people wanting to make their groups places of belonging for every child and young person. Lots of good conversations with them afterwards too 🙂

Read that again....
Labour admitted that would not implement the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities into law at the election.

We should have seen this cull of Disability benefits coming.

I look at the Disabled kids at my daughters college, vying for a future, & I dread what will happen to them.

We're certainly looking forward to serving there....we're going to be busy dashing around the different sessions to add info on what each subject means in connection with additional needs/disability.
If you want to chat about additional needs in your church - find us on our stand.
It's almost time for the Hand in Hand Conf!
The @addneedsalliance.bsky.social have a stand where these will be turned into free simple prayer activities.
A team from the ANA will be speaking in many sessions to give an add needs perspective on the subjects.
