You know you've raised your kids in California when, 5 minutes after the second of two reasonable sized shakes within half an hour, your daughter says: Well, I'm off for a nap. I hope the house doesn't collapse on me.

Singapore's #library@Chinatown is one of my favorite places to visit whenever I am in town, and I have been visiting for years. It just fills me with hope to see such a well-planned unstaffed library that continues to thrive.

We had the most entertaining taxi driver on the way to Changi airport. He was listening to this cha cha station which had all these old songs like Never on a Sunday, Jumbalaya, Knock 3 Times, etc. being played as cha cha with all kinds of wild drums and ay ay ay in them.

Boarded and waiting to take off, and tragedy!!! I have this whole ritual of completing the crossword in the inflight magazine before we take off. I have been doing this for almost 4 decades. And they have discontinued the magazine on United!!! On international flights, at least!!! 😭😭😭
