Healthcare in the US is fucked up. I go to the pharmacy and they tell me it will be 432$ for my medicine this month. No idea why. But if I pay cash, instead of going through my insurance it will be 32$.
How exactly does that even make sense?

If people want to help families in Minneapolis, my neighbourhood has a small gofundme running. We are just trying to buy food for families that are hiding in their houses from ICE. Any little bit helps.

I’m taking my old Verizon hotspot, which is an orbic RC400l and turning it into a rayhunter. I know 🧊 is most likening deploying them or using them. Now it’s time to catch them in the act.

Those tree hugging hippies in Hungary now lead the world in the share of electricity generated from solar with almost 25% of their electricity coming from solar in 2024.
Over the last few years I have worked to remove the use of natural gas in my house. It started as simple as switching to an electric kettle, getting an instapot and air fryer. Use of the gas stove and oven have decreased a lot as a result.

The general consensus seems to be if the Supreme Court overturns HE, it’s all doom. But couldn’t congress could just set up an agency under its article 1 as a branch of congress with rule or law making authority?

Getting a new phone prompted me having to migrate a lot of OTP codes. I realised how many old accounts I had to services I don’t use anymore. I spent hours closing old accounts. It is nice to clean up my security footprint a bit. I also gave me a chance to clean up my data sprawl.

There is no greater sign of the internet addicted, tan going to the gym, where people hog machines because in between sets they are on Instagram or TikTok and they loose track of time. Case in point, one individual at the gym hogged the leg press for an hour.

I don’t see enough people talking about the resources constraints in Azure East 1. The cloud provider has physically run out of CPUs for users and organisations to deploy compute against. This is almost unheard of in the modern cloud era, and something I have never seen happen with competing clouds.

I want you all to understand that every time a politician calls for a release of the hostages and does not mention the MANY Palestinian hostages in Israel, they are making it clear they only value some lives — those adjacent to power, those it is politically safe to defend.

People travel with so much stuff. Watching all these boomers in the airport with huge luggage for a one week cruise. Goodness gracious. I did 5 weeks in Africa with one carry-on. What are these people packing?

Law enforcement officers should never cover their faces when making arrests or conceal their identities (unless they are working undercover). They work for us. We have a right to know who they are. These face coverings are frightening & unAmerican, as though they're ashamed of what they're doing.
