it didn’t smell like her anymore. she smelled faintly of vanilla cake. i miss her. she was as soft as a chinchilla and the sweetest cat i’ve ever known. i love every tortie a little extra because maybe, somehow, they’re related to her.

my house was on the grid that got shut down first when TX was going to do staged rolling blackouts during a severe winter storm. unfortunately, it didn’t work properly and i ended up with no electricity for about a week. (2/3)

i had to watch a video about my eye surgery; didn’t regret it. i also made my dr give me a play-by-play the day of; it helped with my anxiety. it didn’t help that there was a long delay & xanax wore off. i stayed more still than anyone ever had according to the nurse. it’s bc every muscle was tensed
