Friday Black by Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah is such a good short story collection. "The Finkelstein 5" in particular is gut wrenching and so well done.

Someone should make a horror movie for introverts based on the song “the more we get together”

Anyone see Brand New Cherry Flavor? What an odd, quirky little fever dream.

While it was horror, I could watch it home alone.

I guess I get 2 gems in a row. The movie Smile is a total terror fest! Was not expecting that!

When it comes to horror movies, I'll watch just about anything, but Talk To Me is one of the highest quality movies I've seen in a while.

Top scariest clowns in order:
1) Pennywise from the first IT movie
2) Art the Clown from the Terrifier series
3) Pennywise from the second IT movie
4) Killer Klowns From Outer Space

This would have been better as a top 5 list but I don't have a 5.

Hoping this ignites a lot of indignant arguing.

Let's take a moment for The Babadook. Why? Because it's crazy scary! Find me a scarier movie. Really. I'm open to suggestions.

Crick Crack Rattle Tap. That ran through my head for a few days. A dark, scary tale by @acwise.bsky.social!

Almost didn’t watch Marianne because the Netflix description was so weak and cliche. So glad I gave it a chance. What an absolutely terrifying delight! All the stars!

The Royal Library of Portugal.

Known as the Royal Reading Room of Portugal, it is located on Luís de Camões Street in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The library was voted the 4th most beautiful library by Time magazine and houses the largest collection of Portuguese literature outside of Portugal.

A research room can be anywhere, but this looks particularly appealing. A panorama of a research room taken at the New York Public Library by Diliff. #WorldLibraryTour

Thriller / horror at sea please! Just placed my first order on @bookshop-org.bsky.social and ordered 4 books of that theme, which meant about $7 went to support local bookstores.

Follow up: I'm looking for more so if you have recommendations for horror / thriller at sea please share!

Just finished, "Mightier Than Bullets" by @laurelhightower.bsky.social. So good and also so sad that this is such a recognizable set of events. Loved the premise. If only.

When the most adorable article of clothing plays a central role in villainy you get the story Fuzzy Slippers by @jeffstrand.bsky.social. Good laughs mixed with horror. Very true to life.
