It seems the United States has been suffering from an increase in shortsightedness and cosmic blindness in human minds over the last 25 years or so.

What’s happening on earth and especially in the western hemisphere is that we are running low on people who can distinguish between falsehood and truth, that know facts & stats don’t make something ‘true’. Something can be factually correct while simultaneously being cosmically wrong.
