I had primarily transitioned to DDG several years ago, when Google was probably still a better search engine. I have used Google periodically since then, but every time I do, it's remarkable how much worse the experience seems.

There are at least a couple versions of the story, but if Gary and Dorothy Kildall lock in CP/M with IBM, the whole trajectory of Microsoft is very different.
