Down in a Foggy Graveyard Down in a foggy graveyard Where me and my fate did meet, The bones that I was a-sorting They then started to creak One was all mangled and covered in grime Next to an altar that glows, And there It twisted into a foul form, Beyond what mortals should know. Then, I started to stagger And flee o'er to the door, I fell, and started to shiver There on the cold, cold floor I wanted knowledge to see What mortals could never be, If I could only peer beyond the veil With the Charnel Fragments Plea And now I lie afore what I seek Its eyes, a void, do scry And now within the altar's red glow, My mind - It starts to pry I attempt to hum a gentle hymn Though hell I never shall see For I have only peered beyond the veil With the Charnel Fragments Plea

"A Poem of Buncombe" Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. Sometimes myth is just myth. Part I I awoke in the morning to cries for my help as Gaia's tears and rage from shuttered duties sought to breach our ageing walls amidst the storm. It was beauty that brought us the ruinous wrath, Achilles, son of Peleus, mighty arm of Zeus' judgement, down upon the slopes of severed bones of Atlas. And so Helen, the daughter of Nemesis - the lash of Gaia's wrath against our usury - swiftly rode the winds to inland green seas. Emilia woke in the morning to cries for our help; Achilles' thrust had pierced the dam, his spear of anguish brought us watered doom to heights we never dreamed. Tiberius, cladded in black, was our muse, his feline senses felt the rage within our household; Wailing hymns were sung to plead for mercy's grace. Clementia answered Tiberius, guiding Emilia awake. She thought the pleas were morning's call of hunger; Famis held for naught that morn, as waters breached our walls.

The giant's sky, a raven
Perched with scrying eyes
Worried father calls them home
Mind does scurry - evening's gloam

This can also be arranged into a ballad quatrain with AABB rhyming.
