It was a big surprise to me too, since I read MTMTE and LL three times before finally reading the rest of the series. IDW made a lot of... choices 😅 (big Starscream fan so I have a lot of OPINIONS about IDW in general despite loving it)

Definitely not in 25, since it happens around the same time as Optimus Prime 25, after the Unicron issues. (The chronology is insane to get straight, but based on some reading orders this seems to be an accurate interpretation)
