It took 24 years (and other advancements like mobile networks and phones, for example) for DoorDash to make this idea profitable.

And not really a disaster. This has happened with these pellets on a recent short cook, so I tried to avoid it (by breaking up the pellets by hand) and then prioritized sleep over babysitting this thing. Only lost about an hour of heat; left myself plenty of time before they need to be finished.

The Wahoo heart rate armband is also great. You can spend less, but there are few things more frustrating than fighting with tech when all you want to do is get in a workout.

The 10+ year old Synology I own is still going strong and getting software updates. When you can amortize it out that far, it’s not a bad deal.
