If Jensen Huang doesn't reveal the next generation of graphics cards from his oven, did it happen?

Ok, it's official, devcontainers are awesome, but the javascript ecosystem still makes it painful to work with.

If you didn't close all your open tabs before setting your out of office for Christmas you've added mental load to your holiday time. Just a thought ...

Trying to create a react app in typescript using the base templated. Was getting errors locally so thought it was a windows dependency setup issue. Just spent 45 mins getting devcontainers setup (not done it before!) and now get the same error! Now I remember why I stick with .NET!

Played with multi stage docker files and building with docker compose this afternoon. Knowing the capabilities but finally getting it working was a good experiment :-)

This time last week I was still on a bus from Cork to Belfast. The whole experience still feels very surreal! Glad I'm at home this week!

Completed Day 2 part 1 of #adventofcode but can't quite get part 2. Obviously missing an edge case somewhere. Have narrowed it down to a range of 20 so can't be missing too much. Another look in the morning might help :-)

#AdventOfCode tip, at least in C#. Codify all of the example data you're given into as many unit tests as you can. It still won't guarantee you a perfect solution, but it'll remove a lot of the complications from the writing process & save you from breaking your wotk by refactoring

Plane took off and landed in the expected country. I'll take it! Had an awesome time at my work Christmas do but looking forward to being home!
Birmingham to Belfast via Cork and a 5hr+ coach ride was not what I was expecting when I headed to the airport yesterday morning!

#AdventOfCode tip, ready for Sunday. Watch your data types carefully. We all tend to default to "int" for a lot of numeric data, but you might want to consider uint and similar for some of the puzzles, otherwise you might find things work with the test data, but fail inexplicably with the real data

So I've probably spent more time on BlueSky (spoiler, not much!) in the last couple of days than I have on Twitter in about 2 yrs. Interesting 🤔
