Do you think there will be an increase in privately funded science missions being developed separately from the major institutions? Much like Rocket Lab are doing with their Venus mission.

It's a common misconception that it's painted as a Mk. XIV. The colour scheme is actually that of Mk.VIII MT557 flown by 152 Sqn.

I think it's a shame that the "Rogue Squadron" movie was cancelled/delayed. A Top Gun style movie with X-Wings would have been fun and different to anything else SW that's been made.

An FAA 'experimental' register wouldn't make any difference here. We already have a light aircraft association that does a similar job. My understanding is that the CAA had issues with the build quality of the Flug Weke 190 kits.

Indeed, though there have been cases in recent years where the CAA hasn't accepted vintage types onto the UK register over identity claims.
