I had an amazing birthday and I felt so loved. On my b-day l did some low-key stuff like walking, reading and taking a nap, things I don't do enough of. As well as having lunch with my mother and going out to dinner and to an arcade with Matt.

One of my favorite historical buildings is the White House. When I was in middle school, I went to DC and got to tour it. We each had to write a report on some aspect of the government or its buildings, and I picked the White House and I still have that report somewhere.

I finally got my car cleaned out and cleaned up. I can pretend I'm going keep it that way, but life happens, so I'll enjoy it for along as it lasts.

My cup is full. I had such a fulfilling day spending time in community, with PFLAG, Triple Point, The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, VancouBears and of course, with the wonderful board and volunteers of QYRC.

I can say hello, thank you and count to 3 in Spanish and a few other words I know but can't say well. I feel a little awkward being in a spanish speaking country and not knowing the language. Google translate has been a big help and generally people are really patient.

Does anyone else have the song Two Doors Down song by Dolly Parton stuck in their head.... no, just me? It is certainly not my favorite of hers and there is not many lyrics so it's an easy one to get stuck in my head.

I have a new aspiration and intention, to meet my body and mind where they are at, without judgment or shame, a practice to just meet myself in the moment, in the here and now with love and compassion.

My driver's side door will need to get fixed as sometimes it doesn't actually latch and close correctly. It seems like an important thing to get fixed.

I'm very excited I accomplished getting a urine sample from my cat Tida. I had to clear out her litter box, disinfect it and put in these special crystals and then try to convince her to use it.

I spent much of Saturday back at the emergency vet with my cat Tida. She had another bladder infection, but this time they're concerned there might be an underlying health issue. Next week I will go to my vet to see if we can sort out what's going on

Having an independent auditor go through the federal government to see how it can work more efficiently would have been a great idea. However, what's taking place right now with Elon Musk is not that.
