I am in awe of nature's beauty and wonder. I took my wife for her first vacation outside of the U.S. We went to Ontario and spent a few days in Toronto before heading to the Niagara Falls. The desk man upgraded us from a city view to what he called a river view. Behold the view from our room.

A day will never come that I do not think about how much I miss our beloved Penny. She was The. Best. Dog. Odds are that all she was looking for was my attention when I snapped this photo. I'm sure I stopped whatever I was doing to provide it.

My 4h47m flight from Chicago to San Francisco is delayed. I was offered a list of options to rebook, none of which will arrive before my delayed flight will. Who on this Earth would make this choice. Chicago to the shaft of America's dick and all the way across the contiguous US?

@cpatel.bsky.social I found this in my basement. Believe it or not, the dog on the right is not my beloved Penny. That is my beloved Angel. To the left is Peanut, my ex's dog. This was taken near the end of both of their lives. Is it obvious, when it comes to dogs, that I have a type?
