He actually might due to medicals. He just had surgery for a torn labrum. Kiper said yesterday he might not be ready by the start of the season and personnel guys were projecting he could fall.

Back in his intro presser, his language was more general, "In modern football, QB success is higher predictor of winning or losing than turnover ratio"- I wouldn't take the inflate language as him trying to game the stat but more focusing on those 7ish EPA factors rather than just turnover ratio

Yeah, 3 out of his 4 seasons. He does get hurt a lot but played in 14 last year.

Agree. As a Bears fan, his 14 games started stats are misleading. He missed parts of 5 additional games, so only 9 starts where he didn’t miss snaps. 4 different injuries reported as well, maybe all stemming from back issues. If he’s actually able to stay healthy though, he’s a mauler. Big if.
