Old school influence weekend: Tennessee, USA band His Hero Is Gone - ‘15 Counts of Arson’. This Crust record came out in 1996 and I was absolutely blown away by it. Headphones on in my room just immersed in the vocals. This and Cryptopsy - ‘None So Vile’ were incredible that year. #MetalSky

Outside of the norm for me is Bask new album ‘The Turning’. This is some really good emotional sludgy stoner rock type of stuff! I’m not much of a fan of the genre, but this is some fantastic music! I might become a fan now! Wow!! Check it out! #MetalSky

German Melodic Blackened Death Metal Nosturaack with their new album ‘Call From The Outer Space’ is some great tunes. Vocals have feeling and music has some riffs… traveling through outer space! It’s an independent album as well, no label. #DeathMetalSky #BlackMetalSky

Going back to some “old” hardcore/crust days this weekend. This album ‘Soul Pollution’ by Logical Nonsense was a staple in 1998, and produced by Neurosis’ Noah Landis. Along with other albums I jammed at that time like Dawn - ‘Slaughtersun’ and His Hero Is Gone - ‘The Plot Sickens’. #MetalSky

One of my favorite bands Svart Crown. This album ‘Profane’ has always hit home with me. The anguish, pain, soft moments, explosion of anger just envelops in me. Saw them live, hung out with them for a bit, they signed a zip up hoodie, and shook my hand. Great group of fellas! #DeathMetalSky
