So the same group that claims that more randomized trials are needed for vaccines (which have already been subjected to randomized trials) now wants to change the FDA label for leucovorin to include autism without a trial, or even much evidence at all, demonstrating its benefit. 🤔

Just a reminder to check for your name in this list of books that OpenAI trained from. If your name is there, they probably owe you several thousand dollars.

OpenAI cried that if everyone eligible author files, the company will go bankrupt, so I'm alerting every author I have ever spoken to.

A bizarre dogma has emerged among the anti-mRNA crowd that the only data we have on vaccines is from the original trial papers, rather than the HUGE volume of studies that came out subsequently...
... then an avalanche showing effectiveness vs hospitalisation, vs critical care, vs death, for subgroups, different variants, different vaccines, over time. These are UK only - knock yourself out.

That first study was just designed to check it worked safely vs cases.

Just terrible. Gunman fires hundreds of shots at CDC then weeks later agency is further undermined and dedicated scientific leadership forced out. Hard to see how this makes America healthier.

The Food and Drug Administration on Wednesday approved updated Covid vaccines for the fall season that limit who can get the shots, the federal government’s most restrictive policy since the vaccines became available. Story by @by-cjewett.bsky.social and Jacey Fortin. Gift link: nyti.ms/3Hz1WhX
