I rewatched for the first time in a few years and thought it was so funny that at one point in the season 2 finale Kate kills a random guy and nobody ever mentions it again. By the end of the run every major character has killed someone. Even Bernard blew some guys up at one point!

I think it’s funny that so many people are now learning about that version, I knew of it as the one they used for the @rifftrax.com commentary for copyright reasons.

I also really want to see that happen and was also thinking they should have Jess McKenna as Audrey.

She had a prominent recurring role on Transparent, I forget if that was during or after Portlandia (maybe a little of both), but that’s a show that has probably not held up very well despite being pretty recent.

Don’t think Lou would ever describe John Cale as sweet though.

I don’t know if you’ve gotten to episode 6 yet but that one is really devastating.

Since John Lennon came back to life in 1984, how can anybody not be endlessly fascinated by the Beatles?

Rex Harrison won for Best Actor that year and thanked his *two* fair ladies in his speech which was really sweet (and I do think Hepburn was unfairly snubbed, even if most of her singing was dubbed over)

(I wouldn’t call myself a big fan, I do love their 60s/70s stuff but I once did a Wikipedia deep dive on them lol)

I think the Temptations were singing live to the original instrumental track. It does look like they have a new singer doing the lead, there are only three mainstays in the Temptations these days, one who’s the sole living original member. The other two spots are kind of a revolving door.

I’ve always been a fan of the Chuck Jones era Tom and Jerry, even if they weren’t particularly the funniest, stylistically they looked so cool.

I don’t remember this Everybody Loves Raymond episode.

Man, just think that if Levon hadn’t hated Robbie for all those years, we might have missed out on classics such as this.

I’ve thought about how when Elon changed the Twitter verification system, he also ended this bit which is one of the worst things about it (aside from it also creating a bigger platform for white supremacists but that goes without saying)

It also had a weird forgotten (and forgettable) end credits song by The Beach Boys and Little Richard. youtu.be/M3hNuvhQsCw
