It was an honor and a blast to premiere LOST CAUSE at the Roxie as part of SF Jewish. Thank you all for having me!

The venue was packed and the Q&A afterwards was lively and super interesting. One passionate audience member described our musical as Bo Burnham meets Green Day, which is flattering!

Trump and his crew of fascists have officially weaponized the dept of education. The following is a list of words that are now banned from public-facing university material. Use these words in your research/course description and risk losing federal funding for things like grants and scholarships.

2025 is already off to a frightening start, and I anticipate things getting worse before they get better.

At least we'll have two new films 📽️ by the Romanian master Radu Jude to make things slightly more manageable.

A 50% monthly price increase? @qbhelp.bsky.social are there increased benefits and perks, or is it the exact same service and you're just bending small businesses over a barrel because you can? Do better, Quickbooks.

📽️ Francis Ford Coppola visits the Criterion Closet.

"Oh, this is a prime vintage."
*Lifts DVD to nose, smells*
"You can smell the soil, the earth. It was a warm summer."
*Smells again*
"Undercurrents of mahogany and napalm."
*Sips DVD, swishes, spits it out on the floor*
"Now that's a spicy movie!"

The decision-makers at studios like Amazon, folks like Jennifer Salke, don't give a shit about art or culture or using these tools to contribute positively to society. They have no integrity and no imagination. They are just content puppets whose sole job is to make money and accrue power.
