The French have a bunch of “Mother Sauces” and one of them is béchamel. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_... Almost every sauce in culinary school started with one of these. We made 20-30 gallons of beef stock every day.

Where are you getting your ideas from?. Chef kiss. It’s so good. I love the dish with the days of the week on it and the little pieces of rice on the end. Fabulous!
