Elon Musk's businesses can once again be held accountable to the rule of law as a result of Trump no longer corruptly shielding his interests.

Given Musk's use of X to destabilise democracies, action should be urgently taken.

Great to discuss on Sky News.

Trump is deteriorating physically and cognitively so rapidly during his second presidency.

He increasingly looks exhausted, falls asleep in public, repeats himself & appears confused/disorientated.

Biden's aging in office had nothing on this. I can't see Trump sustaining another 3+ years of this.

Trump says the US is collecting "hundreds of trillions of dollars" in tariff revenue.

The size of the entire world's economy is around $110 trillion.

There have been 263 UK prisoners released in error over the last year, but apparently it's only newsworthy when they happen to be a non-UK national.

Offenders are not more dangerous by virtue of being 'foreign'.

Media outlets need to stop helping the far-right poison our discourse with xenophobia.

James Cartlidge devotes his entire #PMQs stint to pressing David Lammy over whether any "asylum seeking offender" has been accidentally released from prison since Kebatu.

He did not ask whether any UK nationals, who account for 88% of offenders, have been accidentally released.

David Lammy hammers Farage and Reform UK for Sarah Pochin's comments on black and asian people appearing on TV adverts:

"The disgraceful racist language that we heard from a Reform UK MP last week belongs in the Dark Ages."
November 5, 2025 at 12:27 PM
The online baying mob shouting "Vote Reform" after Saturday's train stabbing attack may wish to note that not a single Reform MP has turned up for the Home Secretary's statement on the incident.

Our little *checks notes* President of the United States is growing up so fast!

Powerful and moving interview with Virginia Giuffre's brother Sky and sister-in-law Amanda:

"He's just Andrew. He's no longer a prince... This normal girl, from a normal family, has taken down a prince. We are so proud of her."

"She was extraordinary. She did the extraordinary."
October 30, 2025 at 10:57 PM
I'm already sick of hearing how "difficult" this decision must have been for the Royals.

Wanting to protect a relative is no excuse for years-long reluctance to remove Andrew's titles after credible allegations of abhorrent abuse were revealed.

This should've been an obvious & immediate decision.

She never lived to see this moment, but today's victory of accountability belongs to Virginia Giuffre.

It's thanks to her moral courage, perseverance through trauma and willingness to confront power that Andrew has finally been fully stripped of royalty.

Justice must now follow accountability.

Buckingham Palace has announced that it is removing all remaining styles, titles and honours of Prince Andrew:

"Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor."

He is also being evicted from his accommodation at Royal Lodge.

Correct action, but it should never have taken this long.

Lib Dem Leader Ed Davey slams Farage and Reform UK’s links to Russia and calls for an investigation into Russian interference in UK politics:

“The evidence shows Nathan Gill was a close confidant of the current Reform party leader for years.”

Starmer calls Reform UK “Putin-friendly” in response.

Suella Braverman has now deleted this post - possibly after remembering she was Home Secretary when it happened.

Trump's 'peace deals' are ticking time bombs.

They weren't forged through US mediation that resolved underlying conflict-causing issues but through Trump forcing warring sides into artificial ceasefires and performative 'deal' ceremonies via economic coercion.

These deals will eventually collapse.

Lib Dem Leader @eddavey.libdems.org.uk calls for Prince Andrew to be summoned to a parliamentary inquiry on whether his housing at Royal Lodge serves taxpayer interests.

Inadvertent honesty from Trump tonight:

"I never thought we'd go into every city and take a really safe city that we've all been living with for years and make them safe... I did get elected for crime but I didn't get elected for what we're doing. This is many many steps above."
October 15, 2025 at 7:58 PM
This is why Trump invites Gianni Infantino to events like yesterday's Egypt peace summit amongst other meetings where he has no legitimate reason to attend.

Favours for favours. Corruption for corruption.
Trump: "If somebody is doing a bad job and if I feel there is unsafe conditions, I would call Gianni, the head of FIFA, and I would say, 'let's move it to another location.' And he would do that ... I could say the same things for the Olympics."
October 14, 2025 at 7:04 PM
Trump threatens to move FIFA World Cup matches and the Olympics in Los Angeles to other locations if they do anything that "cause safety conditions".
October 14, 2025 at 6:55 PM
Trump, attempting to mock Joe Biden's cognition, says the only document the ex-president signed was "Hunter's Piden".
October 14, 2025 at 6:40 PM
Trump: "You wouldn't have a world domination by the dollar if I didn't win this election."

Since Trump returned to office, the share of global foreign exchange reserves held in US dollars has fallen, largely as a result of the dollar's fall in value due to Trump's economic chaos.

World leaders at the Egypt Peace Summit for Israeli-Palestinian peace looking awkward as Trump rants about how the United States is the "hottest country anywhere in the world" and how he's brought in "$17 trillion" in investment.
October 13, 2025 at 5:26 PM
Trump just interrupted his speech at the Egypt peace summit to ask Pakistan's PM to "say what you said to me the other day".

PM Sharif then spent the next 5 minutes talking about how amazing Trump is, how he deserves a Nobel Peace Prize & parroting Trump's nonsense claims of preventing nuclear war.
October 13, 2025 at 5:15 PM
The final guest to arrive at Trump's peace summit is Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

Oh wait no, it's actually... FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
