Highlander 2: The Quickening.

Here goes my first ever watching of this film. Its reputation precedes it. I'm going with the original Theatrical cut.

This is for the podcast. I've been putting it off but it's set in 2024 and this'll be the last normal podcast of the year before Christmas.

This afternoon saw me meeting Tom Baker.

Sadly not _the_ Tom Baker but instead a Tom Baker from one of our suppliers.

I'd not met him before so couldn't help but wonder if this might be the Fourth Doctor himself. Oddly the 90 year old didn't turn up to show off some new computer kit...

Frozen car morning. These are the days when having an electric car really saves time and discomfort.

Everyone else was out there scraping the ice off whilst I just tell my car to defrost itself via an app, not leaving the house.

A few minutes later I was ready to go to a defrosted and warm car.

Christmas shopping has begun.

This lunchtime found me at the local Smyths Toyshop buying something off an Amazon wishlist, for exactly the same price.

Naturally I did mark it as bought elsewhere to hopefully prevent it being bought twice.

About an hour ago I saw John Nathan-Turner on a bus!

Well, it was his name on the front of a Brighton & Hove bus. They all have names of notable B&H people on them.

Sadly I was driving through Brighton at the time so couldn't get a photo but I've attached one from the DW News site.

Apple TV+ keeps finding ways to drag me back in!

My subscription has only recently ended after the excellent fourth season of Slow Horses.

Now I've almost immediately resubbed for Silo season two. Here's hoping it's as excellent as its first season...

Watching Doctor Who: Planet of Giants, for the first time.

Environmentalism as far back as the first story of season two, in 1964? What was the BBC coming to?!

I've just joined Bluesky, whilst I am supposed to be watching Pacific Rim for a review. This film is even dumber than I remember!
