We have a new member of pur family. Meet Biotite Mica! Mica for short. The shelter thinks she is part German Shepard and Akita though her and her four siblings were found wandering in the woods so no one is sure yet.

2024 has brought a visitor to my parents house. We were able to help it with some fish but no way to bring it into the house, hopefully we can capture them and bring them to the vet tomorrow

While on the Geomorphology field trip to the Finger Lakes, we stop at Lake Ontario shore. I started coming here in 2018. This photo shows the old base for a table which I ate lunch on back then. This is where the base is now due to coastal erosion.

Enjoyed a nice stroll and drive across drumlin fields. We also got to hang out on the shore of Lake Ontario
