VFX Artist. I expect to mostly talk about politics and geek stuff— media, games, comics.
Partly it was that initial Cubs/Sox thing. But I think it’s also part of how Americans specifically are dealing with a Pope who is from our cultural context.

I’m kinda coming to accept it’s a *next* Wednesday kind of book.

This was structural, if not deliberate.
At the time the marketing strategy emphasized lines and companies; design was portrayed as collective, even interchangeable.

I was a teenage fan of DC Heroes; it was ‘by’ Mayfair games. I couldn’t have named Greg Gorden if my life depended on it.

Not saying it’s true, but it would be some absolutely Shakespearean prophecy level shit if Bill Clinton getting a blow job brought down a presidency after all.

To a really shocking extent he seems to have a principled objection to powerful people being punished.

Oh! I never noticed those cracks before!

That’s golden, given Dark Phoenix reaching out to crush the logo in those spots on the preceding cover.
November 14, 2025 at 5:27 AM
Wait. Because of the weather? You’re telling me that after all this… they can’t handle a little *ice*?!
November 14, 2025 at 5:03 AM
IS it meaningfully constrained? And where it is, does the administration respect those constraints?

In the Kindle app it acknowledges that it was published yesterday but still won’t be available until the 20th.
November 13, 2025 at 10:12 PM
Yeah! We’re going to be so much better off when all those filthy artists and actors and writers and musicians and programmers have been replaced by something cheaper and faster.

Grok! Give me fifty sonnets! Compare everything in my room to a summer’s day— chop, chop!

Near as I can tell they did?

“Any reduction in force proposed, noticed, initiated, executed, implemented, or otherwise taken by an Executive Agency between October 1, 2025, and the date of enactment, shall have no force or effect."
November 13, 2025 at 5:23 PM
Oh! Breaking that really persistent 37% barrier where his first term support bottomed out could be a big deal.
November 13, 2025 at 8:38 AM
…. The jazz score, the little nonsequitur ‘hey, daddy-o’ background lines from the npcs, the random little bits of poetry, the way you literally roll up the scroll to fast travel.
I think you may have something here.

House can only barely agree on a placeholder speaker like Johnson.
November 13, 2025 at 4:33 AM
Not wrong. What should it matter for?
November 13, 2025 at 3:55 AM
Can this be taken to court as a 27th amendment violation?
November 13, 2025 at 2:25 AM
That was my first move when I couldn’t get it on Amazon, yeah.
November 13, 2025 at 2:20 AM
…. Forcing them to do it was half the point of the shutdown, surely?!
November 13, 2025 at 12:49 AM
Ooh. “GOPpocalypse” is almost as good as “R-mageddon.”
November 13, 2025 at 12:34 AM
Yell, yeah, but it’s not like he was found to have done so in court.
*checks notes*

…. Oh.
November 12, 2025 at 9:17 PM
Oh. I just ugly laughed.
November 12, 2025 at 8:53 PM
We already know he is. We’re just dancing around pretending like we don’t because then… I dunno. It’s be embarrassing to admit that they still aren’t going to do anything about it.
November 12, 2025 at 6:43 PM
Yeah, but I live in a world where the most recent big tech innovations have ended up going a lot more poorly than we hoped. If you can do this to criminals, what stops them from deploying it more broadly? You can’t lock up everybody— you could, theoretically, give everybody a dystopian minder droid.
November 12, 2025 at 4:32 AM
Castille, yeah! Good luck eating Aragon before the French though.
