Two strikes in seven days with two lovely Rock Pipits giving fab views as they preened and dried atop fence posts after bathing in a channel off Clifton main pit last week. And today a cracking Black-necked Grebe diving just off the west shore in the morning sun, red eye and all!

I’ve seen a handful of Turnstones at Clifton, but never actually found one myself. So I was chuffed to find a summer plumage bird feeding along the east shore of the main pit this morning. Also 6 Black Terns, a Ruff and Greenshank still. #WorcsBirds #BirdingCentral

Great to find only my 2nd Marsh Harrier at Clifton Pits this morning, and even better to know it was tracked down by @midlandsbirder.bsky.social in Worcester.

A Spotted Redshank on the NW shore of Clifton main pit this afternoon was a surprise, to say the least #WorcsBirds #BirdingCentral
