Truth be told high cut is just so much easier to wear proper hearing protection with rather than mounting the headset under the helmet. Yeah the trade off is a bit of protection but you get some flexibility with your hearing

Wouldn't surprise me if there was a polymarket bet with that option at the moment

Except they don't... the ones that think of themselves as empires do, especially when their populations buy into that idea
December 16, 2025 at 10:35 AM
A litmus test; "what do russians outside of russia think/do" as they don't have to fear the state. You'll see overwhelmingly that they don't join anti-war movements, that they don't protest. russians culturally love the idea that they are expanding and really its just putin doing what's popular
December 16, 2025 at 9:23 AM
Question; we are told that FPVs are the poor man's substitute for a lack of artillery. However russia has far more (& arguably better) artillery yet still puts the same resources into developing FPVs and doctrine as the Ukrainians. So am I missing something as nobody has given a rational answer
December 15, 2025 at 2:11 PM
My view mate just block; I've learned arguing with vatniks that you can't argue in good faith with people that feel unburdened by the obligation to make a coherent argument. They just metaphorically shit everywhere and claim a debate victory when you leave because of the smell.

Again same comment on multiple comments; I'm actually inclined to think it's an actual person with brainrot as generally bots go through a spelling and grammar program so they don't look like an absolute moron. This guy, just dove headfirst off the idiot tree and hit every branch on the way down
December 14, 2025 at 12:00 PM
the moron must be a bot as spam posting the same thing on multiple threads; was hoping Blue Sky was more on top of this. That or some serious brain rot
December 14, 2025 at 10:24 AM
Dude I really have no time for self righteous little morons that can't bear to answer a simple question and go off on a rant. You cross a border, film yourself gleefully killing any Israeli in site, something comes back. It really isn't difficult but you find a way to make it such.

Funny, not what I asked but hey you do you in your own little fantasy world 🙂

Re trade deal, (and doing the video thing again) at 10.53-13mins Steven Everts goes over how Eur simply just can't help but be subservient and would rather try buying support and hope for the best again and again rather than act decisively.

A litmus test there is if there's no going back then what has changed? Sure investment in defence has gone up but a lot of it has gone to buying weapon systems outside the EU, you still have the trojan horses of Slovakia and Hungary, and a trade deal signed with trump that was extortionist

That Ukrainian battalion commander needs to speak at every defence VC bro conference possible
December 13, 2025 at 1:51 AM
ICJ said no such thing, Mr 70 year old sex pest lol
December 12, 2025 at 2:45 PM
Yeah a 70 year old dude continually posting semi nude photos of russian girls young enough to be your grand daughter is exactly the kind of pro-ru guy that feels insulted when a leader steps up. Like I get it, you're old and insecure b/c you did nothing when young but just go to therapy haha
December 12, 2025 at 2:39 PM
Yes, I too hate pricks that say "watch this video" but the jist is if you can't come to trump say "we have a plan to win this, we're committed" then you start looking like clingy losers to him. You can say "Rutte labels rus a threat" and cool, but how you gonna beat it? Where's the decisiveness?
December 12, 2025 at 9:57 AM
All good, thought you were referring to trump as the master negotiator for some reason and giving him credit. However I'm still not sold on him for this reason; Europe hasn't been able to come to trump and say "this is our plan of victory" (3.20min expands on this)

I hate people that say "look at this video, this is my point" but I'm going to do it this once; 3.20mins in (whole vid is pretty good actually) Landsbergis makes the point that trump sees Europe as losers because thus far they have presented no plan for victory.

Sorry mate, when you were referring to the master negotiator were you referring to trump or Rutte as I think I might have misread
December 12, 2025 at 9:47 AM
An easy litmus test; has russia felt emboldened or deterred since trump came in? The answer is clearly emboldened. The same applies to Ukraine and it's allies with an equally obvious answer. So unless you're advocating for rus, there is no way you can say he is a master negotiator going by outcome
December 12, 2025 at 9:41 AM
Like as you said; nobody predicted the collapse of the USSR. So if you can't predict it, and many proclamations about russia doing so have come and gone, then by nature you can't rely on it and it has absolutely no place in strategy. Esp as I think Eur clings to it so they can justify doing little
December 12, 2025 at 9:38 AM
True re "collapse" clarification. However there is no way you can predict when or if rus will collapse so the utility of it being strategy as far as Ukraine is concerned is useless. And there is no guarantee Ukraine doesn't beforehand. Ukr civil society has been strong but under tremendous strain
December 12, 2025 at 9:36 AM
And if the gameplan is waiting for rus to collapse, that's not going to happen; if North Korea hasn't collapsed after all this time neither will rus and I hate the notion that we're relying on rus to do to itself what Eur should be doing to them anyway. Not mention it uses Ukrainians for time
December 12, 2025 at 9:17 AM
If you're abiding to the law to such an extent that you're enabling your adversary more than your defender, then the law has failed. Especially as Europe has given more money to rus through gas then it has aid to Ukraine. That's not being sane, that's lacking the will to the right thing
December 12, 2025 at 9:15 AM
To quote one poet, "It's a bold strategy, Cotton. Let's see it if pays off for 'em." The rate trump is going with his security documents you have to think that there's got to be some movement there.

Then you see this and wonder if Europe is set on legalising itself to death

A German court has again refused to allow the seizure of the damaged oil tanker Eventin, part of Russia’s shadow fleet, citing legal uncertainties over whether such action is justified.

The Federal Fiscal Court (BFH) said there are “reasonable doubts” about the legal basis for confiscation.
