I.... I worked with Chong and did some podcasts with him when he wrote about games, before he went the way he did. I'm so horrified by it, even if everyone cut ties with him when he started talking about politics. It will never not haunt me

I mean, isnt bringing a movie over from Japan or Korea a pretty cheap and safe bet? If it's already made, it's small risk/big return, right? That seems less "respect creators" and more "cheap way to maybe make a lot of money"
