The power grab would be: • Silent - No tanks in the streets, just financial and technological dependence. • Voluntary - The public would buy into it because they benefit from the system. • Unstoppable - Even if a future president opposed it, disrupting the system would mean crashing the economy and government operations. At that point, traditional political power (Congress, the President, the Supreme Court) would be symbolic at best-real control would lie with the architect of the system.
