I might have to write a C# version of this and see how my 21st century pc compares to a 20th century Cray 1.

I'm sure it was scary at the time, but it's probably been slightly overshadowed since then by the likes of Resident Evil! I bet this was fun to play back in the day though.

Isn't it ironic?

Got the barrel, realised they didn't pick up the monkey to go inside it.

How can I revert to the old context menu in Windows 11?
In Windows 11, right-clicking a file in File Explorer brings up a context different menu than in previous versions. The new version is really great for people who want to pin everything to their Qu...

Oh so do I. It was great fun to use and it was great fun to develop apps for it. A part of me got left behind when I finally gave up on Windows Phone. 😢

We bought a copy of that for my son when he was little, it was very much enjoyed. I've not thought about it for years, but I just looked on his bookshelves and there it still is! ♥️

Ooh, sounds like fun, I'll definitely take a listen!

Oh it's heartbreaking isn't it? When my second book was published and I received the physical copies, this is what I found as the very first heading in the whole book. That first word was not present in the documents I had submitted, the publishers added this themselves. I could have cried! 😭

TNZS is one of my all time favourite games. I managed, just once, to complete the arcade version without losing a single life, and that was before emulation when I was having to pay for each credit! 😂

Is there any information about which platforms this is releasing for, or any ETA?

The TheC64 products are made by Retro Games Ltd. and aren't anything to do with any of the Commodore companies, you'll notice that the name "Commodore" doesn't appear anywhere on them.

When I wrote three consecutive books for Apress, an American publisher, I was pretty much at the point where I had forgotten what British spellings looked like, and I did eventually make peace with it. Though I could never accept "aluminum" or "math". Fortunately, neither of those were needed.

Good grief. I kind of assumed it would involve the sprint key and maybe avoiding a few fights. I have learned a lot today. 😳

I think those stargazers of the past could never have imagined what they were really looking at.

Much as I think the stargazers of today probably have nearly as much still to learn. It's mind blowing what we're discovering out there.

(This remake was actually inspired by an old issue of Retro Gamer that was on my shelf a few months ago.)

Oh I think you're going to love that machine! I built my own virtual pinball some years back when we replaced our TV, and I have a huge amount of fun with it, you completely forget it's not real once you start playing - video and pictures attached. I look forward to seeing your pinball videos soon!
