I supported the project based solely on my huge fandom of your podcasts. I cannot express how much I value and enjoy your perspective.

Agreed. Fight for democracy - not point out your ranking on social media. Makes me question the motivation and depth of the poster.

I don’t like when people humble brag about clicks, likes, and followers. I don’t care who they are or what they are doing. It shows a vain side of why they do what they do.

Is that why you do this?

I mean for future editions. Can you at least appreciate that you are profiting indirectly off of another company’s work product? The OGL is designed to allow 3rd party designers to supplement the content - not release it in a modified form that bypasses purchases altogether.

I appreciate what you are doing here. I do have to wonder sometimes, though, if initiatives like this will ultimately lead to WotC shutting down the OGL and allowance of third party content. If their market share reduces because people play “their” game without buying their product, why share it?

Do you have fantasy maps as well?

You have lost your way, Senator. Remember why you hold that office and represent those people. Your kowtowing to Trump had been sickening.

I am a huge fan of Mike Shea and a Patreon supporter. I agree that looking up spells is a lame criticism when the summaries can be cut and pasted into a prep document or looked up online. In recent months, seems like he has personalized WotC mis-steps and gone negative. Sad to see.

Doesn’t sound as good as biscuit stuffing, but still sounds good! 😂

Huge fan. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Constructive suggestion for a huge critique you continue to communicate: cut and paste monster spells you will need for a specific monster into your DM prep doc so you don’t have to reference a book during the session. Saves overall time.

Hang in there - we are all (non-MAGA) navigating that struggle.

Thanks for the thoughtful response. I totally understand. It would be a lot of work to parse through there to identify the differences. Sure would love your thoughts on them, as I feel they are under represented compared to Daggerheart and Draw Steel.

Cite. Not vote. My apologies.

Please vote an example of where smaller publishers can make a business decision that a larger one LEGALLY cannot.

I had understood publishers were still reviewing the first SRD and that a second one is pending release. It is self interest for many of these publishers to take this position now that many have created their own 5E variant.

Mearls is not stating fact. He is attempting to assert his will on the marketplace. D&D remains the clear foundation of the hobby, and hurting it hurts the hobby.

I am perplexed by the fact that the secret doors are clearly marked on the maps. I mean, these are meant for use with players and miniatures, right?

In America today, “merit” is defined as white, wealthy and Trumpist.

😂 This hits hard.

Interesting. As someone who has backed almost every KP KS campaign, I have to admit I am getting fatigued with it. Especially when I later see I can buy the products for less through other means (e.g., Humble Bundle, KP sales, etc.).

Huge fan! So love your thoughts and insights.

Question: have you considered covering/reviewing Tales of the Valiant and/or Level Up A5E in the same manner you have covered/reviewed Shadowdark, Daggerheart, and some other games? Would love to hear your thoughts about these as well.
