This pitchforks are certainly going to come, and more.

Trump the liar will pay too.

I'll believe it when a meteorite hits the White House.
June 27, 2025 at 2:55 PM
Yeah, that's Trump's fault and responsibility. We are dragged into yet another war in the Middle East.
June 22, 2025 at 12:58 AM
He has the right idea. We should sue them for every fucking incident.
June 22, 2025 at 12:39 AM
This is another dumb war we didn't have to sign on for and which we will likely regret.
June 22, 2025 at 12:37 AM
No, I think popularity of abstractions ("Democrats", "Democratic Leadership") are not the same as the popularity of actual candidates people are voting on.
June 17, 2025 at 2:30 PM
You keep confusing the leadership's popularity with whether their candidates are winning. The two are different things.
June 16, 2025 at 2:17 AM
This estimate is way low.
June 16, 2025 at 2:13 AM
How good the leadership *ks* is certainly meaningful, but the polls on their popularity aren't -- how people feel about democratic leadership won't have much to do with whether or not they are effective.

And, in any case, the candidate quality/fund-raising/effectiveness will matter much more.
June 16, 2025 at 2:12 AM
You're just wrong. They "did not" vote for Kamala Harris, a particular candidate, which has zero to do with these polls about the "Democrats" (the party).

They barely lost, at that. Either way, irrelevant.
June 16, 2025 at 2:10 AM
People keep harping on this, but it's not as meaningful as it looks. We don't vote for the Democratic party or its leadership -- which is a big part of the poor polling -- we vote for particular candidates. Lots of Democrats are pissed at the party leadership, but we aren't voting Republican.
June 15, 2025 at 4:01 AM
He got exactly what he deserved.
June 15, 2025 at 3:58 AM
Pretty confident it will get worse, and there will be absolutely no reason to stop. This is neither a competent nor a moral regime.
June 15, 2025 at 3:56 AM
Well, it doesn't seem to be a Republican issue, because they are solidly behind a fascist president.
June 15, 2025 at 3:55 AM
Yeah, LAPD launched tear gas at a peaceful crowd. That was weird. I hope we get an explanation that isn't a lie.
June 15, 2025 at 3:53 AM
It's true that he has none. He's a sociopath.
June 14, 2025 at 4:09 AM
When you "liberate" a city from its democratically elected mayor, or a state from its governor, that's a civil war.
June 14, 2025 at 12:37 AM
Are we going to have to have private armies to defend Democrats? Move around with heavily armed bodyguards ready to kill fascists?

This is getting nuts and goes nowhere good.
June 14, 2025 at 12:35 AM
This is awful and unethical.
June 14, 2025 at 12:20 AM
They won't win the court case (I think). Trump is impatient, and instead of spending years hollowing out the courts, he's moving ahead with shows of force. So while the DOJ is being used as a weapon, it's power is blunted.

But we need to fight back. NO KINGS! SHOW UP! BE HEARD!
June 13, 2025 at 2:13 PM
We have this one advantage: Numbers. There are far more of us than they have personnel to arrest or prisons to hold.

We need to all show up and use our numbers. Because otherwise, the totalitarian takeover will go on and on.

Expect this to be a long, unpleasant fight.
