Everything got starched in PI and Oki. So heavily that you wouldn't need to for ages after you rotated back. This is in HI 1986 after the OD t-shirts got approved. Before that only on float. We couldn't roll our sleeves this way on float either, camo side out ala Army dogs.

Getting stuck into a classic war game that I hadn’t played before.

As an old GDW fan I love the old A5 box sets. Nice map, good counters, pretty basic rules with revisions available.

Great fricken record I’ve had for ages. Good stripped down recording. Old school vinyl is often sooo thin and fragile! Look out kids.

Recently made redundant, laid off in US parlance. So I decided that now was a great time to sort out my home office. Coveted those flat pack standing desks but I loved my old Smith-Corona typewriter desk. I designed and built a topper for it. Single sheet of 12mm ply 1200x1200. Boom!

Third visit to WLG by a US Navy ship to since the 80’s is the legendary LCC-19 Blue Ridge. Can barely believe that it’s still in service but good on her. 7th Fleet’s command and comms ship based in Yokosuka.
