BBC News bulletins leading on the story of an Algerian man being mistakenly released by the prison service.
Funnily enough I don't remember these cases ever leading the bulletins when an average of ten prisoners were mistakenly released a month in the final year of the last Government

Why the BBC handing Reform hours upon hours of unfiltered coverage of their press conferences every single week is so irresponsible
What exactly has been "squandered" about Brexit here and by whom?

Nigel Farage, whose party recently put a teenager with zero work experience of any kind, in charge of running an entire county, is currently giving a speech railing against "unqualified" politicians being put in charge of Government departments

Kemi Badenoch is absolutely right about this.
At the time she hacked Harriet Harman's emails it was an offence carrying a prison sentence of up to five years

This is farcical. Katie Lam didn't speak "imprecisely". She accurately stated the Conservative party's existing policy, which they tried to pass as a Bill in Parliament earlier this year, and which Badenoch's spokesman defended himself just last week.

So why does the BBC label the academic and economist Faiza Shaheen an "activist" but refuse to do the same for the former academic, turned anti-migrant activist Matt Goodwin?

Nobody had even heard of Katie Lam outside of Westminster until about two weeks ago.
Literally all it takes to be considered "brilliant" and a "rising star" on the right of British politics now is just a willingness to say something slightly more racist than all of your competitors

Labour Chair Anna Turley describes it as a "humiliation for the Tories"
"What is clear is that senior Tories continue to believe we should be deporting people who have played by the rules and settled here - our friends and neighbours and colleagues - based on so-called ‘cultural coherence'."

We constantly hear from Nigel Farage and his media supporters that Reform isn't a racist party.
Meanwhile, seven out of ten ethnic minority voters say that they are.
If only the views of actual victims of racism were heard even half as much as the perpetrators

Labour hits their lowest ever poll rating with YouGov, level with the Conservatives on 17%. Greens at their highest ever.

Labour still falling in the national polling average towards parity with the Conservatives.
The question is how much centre / left support can Labour win back in a general election against Reform.
I suspect quite a lot, but Labour will actually need to start doing something for those voters first
