Agreed.
In 1981, Thatcher was very unpopular, that didn't stop her from winning two more elections.
Let not Labour jump on the bandwagon of the Conservative post 2015 and believe that one person is their problem.

I am also concerned that ITV is not taken over by Sky.

Rich, don't just don't🥲 A stepson from whom he stole marijuana from which he then used to purchase land. Do you remember the stepson's half-brother, Ross, being humiliated by Robert - 'how much weed can woodchipper chip, if a woodchipper could chip weed?"

I think she wanted to leave, it's just a pity that she and Liv didn't go off together travelling, which would have given both the opportunity to come back for short periods.

Shhhh Brian, don't tell anyone about how fantastic it is, I want to keep it for myself! So many people I have come across have no idea about where the Gower or Mumbles are - they really are worth driving across Wales for.

I was pleased to see his visitor and their acting together. A pity that in the past the boys didn't have more scenes with her.

Oh, for the good old days, Sir Michael, when you could go on a bender of Dennis Thatcher proportions and wake up three days later and find you had completely missed the governments of 3 Conservative leaders.

I enjoy the scene from the 'return of the dead'. The acting between them was very good. Ryan is excellent at facial expressions and also pausing and giving space.

He has certainly forgotten about any of the English lessons he had at school.

In the distance there is the building that incorporated the Grosvenor Hotel. I remember as a child a Tesco ('pile it high, sell it cheap') opening in this block.

In addition nearly 75% of pensioners own their own homes compared to many on the Living Wage having a substantial part of the their income taken by rent.
November 12, 2025 at 8:41 AM
You are not comparing like with like, when you posted this last time I pointed out:
1 The Living Wage is gross and subject to both PAYE (above the personal allowance.
2 National insurance
3 Employees have travel to work costs
4 Pensioners have free bus passes and in some areas local trains

A Tory, but to use the phrase of Mrs Thatcher, 'Not one of us'. We need true Conservatives leading the country, like (Panto) Dame Ann Widdecombe, who will make prisoners think twice about giving birth in prison. Or dear Nigel, who would make school assemblies sing the Horst-Wessel-Lied daily.

Kev is not lovable, he is well acted but a possessive, psychopath who manipulates to get what he wants. Fortunately I hear he has already stopped being filmed on Emmerdale.

Like Wolfie, I have my viewing down to only a couple of minutes as I fast-forward through all the April, Ray and Celia storylines as I don't want to go on antidepressants.

I thought that Boris played a tremendous national service, with his muscly bulk hiding the fact that Mr Andrew Mountbatten Windsor was standing behind him between the two women.

Thank Wolfie, it is the same for me ... if I linger.

Herr Fabricant, a loss to politics, & in particular, to Lichfield.Attaining the exalted position of Lord Commissioner for the Treasury, which, I am sure, features in a G&S Savoy Opera, under Cameron. May, Johnson, Sunak & Truss were afraid of his intellect & razor-cutting tongue to promote him.

I am not an American. But I have to say that I do not marvel or feel inspired by those buildings at all. Countries like Italy have buildings that take your breath away and influence many of the great cities of Europe.
