Scrapping the 1m rule is so vital to rollout. I know people who'd love a HP but their gardens just aren't big enough and they're scared/confused by the planning system.

The anti-HP lot will winge about noise but it's just scare mongering.

FWIW natural refrigerants (R290) can enable quieter HPs!
Lots on heat pumps and buildings from UK government today including.
-1m planning rule gone by 'early next year'.
-Clean Heat Market Mechanism coming in but with only £500 fines 'in year 1'.

Good on planning but I don't think a £500 fine will do owt...
