Platinum #118: Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. It was one of the best gaming experiences of my life, but Sekiro is my first and last of their games that I will play.

My final thoughts on Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League:
Looter Shooters aren’t my thing, but SSKTJL was fun in short bursts. The gameplay was fast-paced, fun and punchy while the dialogue and banter between the squad was excellent.

It took years, but I’ve finally decided that I like the Aegis outfit from Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.
That’s my replay of #Batman Arkham Asylum done! Still an incredible masterpiece 10+ years later. The combat and stealth are basic compared to later entries, but when the foundation is this good, it doesn’t matter.
Highlights are still hunting riddles and Killer Croc’s lair.

One of the many things that #AssassinsCreed Syndicate doesn’t get enough credit for is that it inherited Unity’s engine, all of its bugs, and the devs managed to make it a more consistent and less frustrating experience.

Syndicate’s London. The atmosphere is arguably the best in the series.
Everywhere you look, there’s a NPC doing a different activity. The audio design is great, making for perfect immersion.

What an amazing year for gaming!
Unfortunately, I didn’t achieve as many platinums as I wanted and I blame FFVII Rebirth for its insanely difficult plat. 😅
FFVII Rebirth and Stellar Blade are my GOTY’s with Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and Clocktower Rewind close behind.

Now it’s been confirmed that Guardians will hunt Naoe and Yasuke when they’re wanted, I hope they will have unique backstories and traits similar to what we saw in #AssassinsCreed Odyssey. Especially since the mercenaries system was one of the best new additions to the RPG trilogy.

I find it interesting that the Sword of Altair is an Arming Sword, typically used by knights. I don’t know if it’s intentional or a mistake but it could represent the Assassins belief in freedom by using a weapon that isn’t normally wielded by Arabs. #AssassinsCreed
